The CP-114UL / CP-114UL-I Series are advanced 4-port Universal PCI serial boards built for industrial automation, data acquisition, and multi-point communication systems. The CP-114UL / CP-114UL-I Series from Nishanth Technologies are multiport serial communication boards designed for industrial automation system integrators and PC-based data acquisition systems. With support for RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 communication, the boards provide flexible connectivity for a wide range of industrial devices.
Powered by the Moxa Turbo Serial Engine™ chip, these boards include Automatic Data Direction Control (ADDC®) technology that simplifies RS-485 communication by automatically controlling the data direction. This eliminates the need for complex timing control when enabling or disabling the RS-485 line driver.
In RS-485 mode, the serial ports can connect up to 31 daisy-chained devices within a distance of up to 1.2 km, making them ideal for long-distance industrial communication networks.
The CP-114UL-I model includes 2 kV electrical isolation, which protects connected equipment from voltage spikes and electrical interference in harsh industrial environments.
