The CP-134U and CP-134U-I are 4-port Universal PCI serial communication boards designed for industrial automation engineers and system integrators requiring reliable long-distance communication and multi-device connectivity.
These boards support RS-422 and RS-485 communication protocols, allowing connection to multiple field devices across extended distances. Each port supports high-speed communication up to 921.6 kbps, ensuring fast and efficient data transmission for industrial data acquisition systems.
The boards incorporate Moxa’s ADDC® (Automatic Data Direction Control) technology, which simplifies RS-485 communication by automatically controlling the direction of data transmission without requiring complex software timing control.
The CP-134U-I model provides 2 kV electrical isolation, protecting equipment from voltage spikes and electrical interference commonly found in industrial environments.
With 128-byte FIFO buffers, hardware and software flow control, and compatibility with 3.3V / 5V PCI and PCI-X systems, these boards provide flexible integration with modern and legacy industrial PCs.
