The ICF-1170I Series CAN-to-fiber converters from Nishanth Technologies are designed to extend CANbus communication networks using fiber optic technology.
These converters transform CANbus signals into optical fiber signals and vice versa, allowing long-distance communication while protecting networks from electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electrical noise.
The device includes 2 kV optical isolation for the CANbus system, ensuring safe and stable operation in industrial environments. It also features dual power inputs with an alarm contact relay, which helps maintain uninterrupted communication even if one power source fails.
